Best $/sq ft on the island
A 3BR Folly Field beach house in shoulder season runs $2,400 to $3,200 a week. The same square footage in Sea Pines starts at $4,500. The math is hard to argue with.
Errands without a hike
Publix, the post office, the urgent care, the locals’ hardware store — all within 5 minutes. For a 10-day stay with kids, that proximity quietly saves an hour a day.

If you want full-service, look at Palmetto Dunes or Sea Pines instead.
